Our Commitment to Our Community
The Rotary Club of Belpre was formed in 1996 as a member of District 6690, which includes Columbus, Ohio and Southeastern Ohio. Over the past 30 years, the Rotary Club of Belpre has contributed over $500,000 to support the communities of Belpre, Barlow-Vincent, and neighboring cities. Additionally, local Rotarians have contributed to numerous District-wide and Worldwide causes including missions to Central America to help less fortunate countries establish clean drinking water in their continued efforts to eradicate Polio.
Whether honoring Belpre's early settlers, providing scholarships to local high school students, or assisting with the numerous needs of the community, The Rotary Club of Belpre remains committed to providing the highest level of service to the men, women, and children who make the place that we call home one of the greatest in the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember that within each of us is the strength, patience, and passion to reach for the stars and change the world.
Our Mission
More than 1 million people around the world, including club members, staff, and the public, helped define the mission of Rotary. The result is a statement that inspires and engages while creating a pathway for our organization’s future.
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Our mission statement originates from our vision and summarizes the true meaning of Rotary. We are leaders who come together, form relationships, and create positive change at home, in our communities, and around the world.
This statement also reflects all of the core values that truly define Rotary: Fellowship, Integrity, Diversity, Service, and Leadership.
By incorporating elements of this statement in our communications, we bring to life the essence of Rotary for those who are unfamiliar with our organization, and show how we differ from other organizations.
Rotary joins leaders from all continents, cultures, and occupations to exchange ideas and take action for communities around the world.

Our Core Values
Fellowship. Integrity. Diversity.
Service. Leadership.
The golden rule of the Rotary Club is quite simple.
Show an interest in the work, challenges, and successes of our fellow human beings.
Cooperate in the advancement of Peace, Understanding, and Goodwill in our own communities and around the world.
Spread the ideals of "Service Above Self", which truly defines the spirit of Rotary.
_
To assist us in the practice of these core values, Rotarians adhere to a philosophy referred to as the
“4-Way Test”.
Is it the Truth?
Is it Fair to All Concerned?
Will it Build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
Will it be Beneficial to all Concerned?
We believe that everyone should embrace who they are,
define their future, and create positive change in the world.
